The Christmas Ballet
A tour we think you'll love
This Christmas event, performed by the Smuin Ballet, takes place at the Sunset Center on December 6th and 7th. This popular seasonal event is comprised of a combination of classical ballet performances and contemporary dance pieces that explore the more flirtatious side of the season. Inns of Distinction Tour
If you want to experience Carmel’s finest inns and sample premium local wines and delicious gourmet food, this tour is a must. Participating inns include the Carmel Garden Inn, The Carriage House, Vendange, L’Auberge Carmel, Cypress Inn, La Playa Carmel, Coachman’s Inn and Tradewinds. Chateau Julien Vineyards’ Holiday Spectacular
Start the festive season right with a stunning a Cappella Choir on December 8th from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. You will enjoy an afternoon full of festive cheer and musical harmony in the midst of more than 1,000 wine filled oak barrels, a roaring fireplace and hors d’oeuvres. A Chanticleer Christmas
This festival of song takes place on December 23rd at the Mission San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo, (Carmel Mission) with performances at 6:00pm and 8:30 pm. The award-winning vocal ensemble will be performing a lively rendition of the Christmas story set in the profoundly beautiful decorated mission. Named “the world’s reigning male chorus” by The New Yorker magazine, the Chanticleer ensemble is embarking on its 36th season and it promises to be one of the best. The Legends of Rock and Roll Tribute Concert
Rock the night away at the Golden Bough Theatre, Monte Verde St. between 8th and 9th, from December 27th to January 5th. The concert pays tribute to many favorite icons from the 50s and 60s like Elvis, Cher, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Roy Orbison. You won’t be able to stay in your seat for this lively event.
